What is Hyperrealism Art?

Hyper-realism art is a form of painting and sculpture that resembles high resolution photographs. It is considered to be an advancement of Photorealism which first appeared in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Hyperrealist and photorealist artists work from photographic images as a reference sources.

Subtly different from its more naturalistic predecessor, Photorealism, which often omits feelings, emotions and narrations, Hyperrealists focus more on working those techniques into their work.
